1989
Development of Quick Scan software. Automatic generation of CAD data for CNC-processing machines from non-dimensioned drawings or sample pieces.
1995
Development of PROMEX CONTROL software. Modular measuring and control conception for the integration of different measuring systems of two or three-dimensional measurements.
1996
Development of PROMEX BASIC. Optical measuring system for off-line measurement of flat surface objects.
1998
Development of the telecentric measuring table. Optical measuring system for series production: profile projection from 3 D to 2 D level.
1998
Link of optical 3 D measuring systems to PROMEX CONTROL.
2000
Development of PROMEX EXPERT (first system for the aluminium industry).
2001
Specialisation profile industry. Adaptation of PROMEX series and PROMEX CONTROL software to the special needs of the profile industry
2005
Extension of product series. Reduction of measuring times from 60 - 120 seconds to 3 – 10 seconds.
2005
Development of PROMEX IL.
2006
iNOEX and ASCONA enter into a strategic development and sales partnership. Producers of aluminium and plastic profiles will in the future profit from an optimised product series for quality assurance through optical measuring technology.
2007
PROMEX OBJECTIVE - Objective web collapsing measurement!
PROMEX stands for complete quality control in the extrusion process of plastic profiles. On the K´2007 ASCONA introduced a new system for the classification of web collapsing in profiles - to achieve a maximum of objectivity!
2009
WHEELINSPECTOR - for contactless inspection of light metal wheels!
In collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute Magdeburg and JBL Consulting presented at the Fraunhofer IFF in Magdeburg/Germany ASCONA presented the WHEELINSPECTOR, a new 3D-Laser-Wheel Measuring Machine.
With this new innovation, ASCONA and its partners managed to develop a system for contactless inspection of light metal wheels, which can be integrated directly into the production process: WHEELINSPECTOR
