As a Software Engineer (m/f/d) at ASCONA, you work on the further development of our highly precise profile measurement systems and are involved in all phases of the development process – from requirements analysis through implementation to testing and documentation. You apply your expertise purposefully, actively contribute to shaping our development processes with practical insights, and help ensure that our solutions operate reliably worldwide.

Your tasks

Further development of the software for our measurement systems in Visual C++ on Windows
Analyzing requirements and implementing new features
Testing and subsequent documentation of developed features
Supporting the worldwide support team with complex cases and remote maintenance

Your profile

Completed degree in computer science or a comparable field
Theoretical and practical programming skills
Experience in software development of Microsoft Windows applications
Ideally, project experience with Modern C++
Knowledge in STL, OpenCV, and SQL is desirable
Good German and English skills
Motivation to contribute to the design of our future software architecture as well as interest in working with legacy code and modernizing it
Strong communication skills, teamwork, and flexibility
Analytical thinking, independent working style, and high commitment
